Our Story

Every great journey begins with a single step—and ours started with a dream, a few pieces of equipment, and a passion for sharing authentic Argentinian cuisine.

Our journey began at the Multicultural Center in Simi Valley, where we introduced our handcrafted empanadas to the community—and sold out. That experience confirmed what we had hoped: people were excited to discover authentic Argentinian flavors and wanted more.

Encouraged by that incredible response, we continued serving at the Monrovia Farmers Market Street Fair, where week after week we built relationships with customers who returned with their friends and families. Their support and enthusiasm inspired us to keep growing.

To expand our business and better serve our community, we established our kitchen inside the Virtual Food Hall (SVC Hub) in Santa Clarita. Having a dedicated kitchen allowed us to grow our menu, maintain the highest quality, and share authentic Argentinian cuisine with the city we proudly call home.

At the heart of BB's is Vivian, whose recipes reflect the traditions, flavors, and hospitality of Argentina. Alongside her is James, whose passion is building relationships, supporting the local community, and creating opportunities for BB's to grow through catering, festivals, partnerships, and customer connections.

Today, BB's Empanadas & Deli offers much more than handcrafted empanadas. We're proud to serve traditional and gourmet empanadas, including Vegan and Gluten-Free options, crispy milanesas, delicious sides, homemade sweets, and our growing BB's Market & Pantry, where customers can take home homemade chimichurri, yerba mate, specialty products, and other authentic Argentinian favorites.

As we continue to grow, our mission remains the same as it was on that first successful day: to welcome every customer like family, prepare every meal with pride, and share the warmth, hospitality, and rich traditions of Argentina with our community.
